Metalworking for industry:

For more than half a century, I.M.A. has been a reliable partner specialising in metalworking for the production of industrial components.

The company was established in 1973 based on the business started during the 1950s by its founder, Mr. Corrado Bertelé, graduate engineer.

It grew as an investee company and, over time, developed through important partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and international joint ventures, always looking for new challenges.

WHP – Workplace Health Promotion

I.M.A. has always attached great importance to the health and safety of its employees.

For this reason, since 2020 it has joined WHP – Workplace Health Promotion, a programme promoted by the Lombardy Region and based on the model proposed by the World Health Organisation .

An opportunity to offer all staff useful tools to encourage the informed adoption of healthy lifestyles and to make the workplace a more welcoming place which enhances to the well-being of individual workers, in the knowledge that only through free and individual participation can this path leads to the expected benefits.

A project through which the company undertakes, together with the Lombardy Region and ATS Insubria, the reference point for the area, to adopt and maintain a set of Good Practices, i.e. actions that proved to be effective in improving the health of workers. Each step is planned from year to year by an internal I.M.A. working group, basing on the guidelines proposed by the WHP manual and on the actual needs assessed among the employees during the day-to-day activities of the company.
